We offer licenses for classrooms, schools and districts.
Pricing (per year)
Student licenses: $10 per student. Students can use Vooks on their own device at school and at home.
Teacher licenses (one classroom device each):
- 1 to 6 teachers: $24.99 each
- 7 to 300: $10 each
- 301 to 1,000: $8 each
- 1,001 to 5,000: $6 each
- 5,001+: custom pricing
Get a quote
Submit a ticket with your school or district name and how many teachers and/or students you'd like to cover. We'll send a quote and invoice.
Paying
- We accept purchase orders for bulk orders, and our W-9 is available on request.
- You can pay by check or by card through a payment link.
- Single or very small orders are paid by card.
Setting up access
- Codes: after purchase we send a code that each teacher or parent redeems at signup.vooks.com/redeem/. Codes are case-sensitive. Anyone who already has a Vooks account should choose Log In on that page so the code extends their current access.
- Students without email access: the verification code goes to whichever email is entered. You can use email aliases (for example you+student1@school.org, so the code comes to your inbox), have parents redeem with their own email, or send us the list of student emails and we'll redeem them for you.
- Clever: purchased student licenses can be rostered through Clever, so students log in through Clever with no separate logins.
Privacy and compliance
Vooks follows COPPA and GDPR. We can provide a pre-filled National Data Privacy Agreement (DPA) and our VPAT. Just ask when you email us.
Libraries
Because of our content licensing, we can't offer remote access through library cards. Site licenses for devices used at the library are available.
